The down side to all this aside from pain and a broken bone is that three months earlier we lived 5 minutes from a hospital that could x-ray and cast our little girl, same day, same place... Now, a lot of running around over a few days and a three hour drive to the nearest hospital that could confidently decide that the growth plate was unaffected (so very thankful for this fact!).
The upside, feeling special,
And getting a blue cast for all your friends to sign!
