This Christmas we decided to get our children more 'outdoor' 'physical' gifts. Adalia is a naturally more sedentary child and has always since 15months been capable of sitting happily through and entire movie.
I think it is because she is too cautious and a little clumsy. She loved her skates (which she is still learning how to use) and loved the fact that they came with all the safety equipment and in case you are wondering, yes they had to ware their new swimmers!
Malachi on the other hand is physically capable and I'm sure will ride, skate and hula hop first.
This go cart made his year...
At the skate park we saw a glimpse of the future...
He is determined to go higher, faster and harder.
He can even understand how to steer with such precision that he reverse pedals into tight spaces.
His little groupie wishes she had one too.
Just in case you think this is an exaggeration... Adalia 'jumping' to daddy while telling him he is too far away, and
Malachi launching himself at dad, and it really was further then it looks!

i miss my sweet malachi... he's such a nice little kid and at the same time very cool! I can see him jumping out of planes too, with a smile on his face the entire time!
I understand poor adalia, because i'm a big chicken... and there is nothing wrong with that adalia!
