If you MAKE him!
In a recent family trip to "the River" with my water loving children, Adalia insisted we take Taxi the family chihuahua a good idea considering the heat... Taxi is so NOT a water baby!
He sat perched on Ricky's shoulders the WHOLE time. Even when Ricky stretched out to swim, Taxi would not budge instead treating Ricky as his personal water craft.
I think in hind sight Taxi's little legs made any time in the water a Olympic swimming effort. Look at my baby dog in the first photo, he seriously looked so sad I couldn't help but laugh.

Cute photos of poor Taxi, maybe take Sasha next time... she'll be much more appreciative!
